Each ABB session will provide a small piece of the pie, eventually totaling to an entire pie of knowledge. This will be completed by removing a new Totalflow from its box, installing it on a meter tube, configuring the meter, and providing troubleshooting tips along the way. Whether you are new to Totalflow meters or you are a seasoned veteran, we will cover all of the basics you need to know.
Speaker: Shawn Rector
Bio: Shawn Rector obtained a CAD Drafting and Design degree to work as a Design Engineer prior to entering the oil and gas industry field. He worked for eight years as a Pipeline Operator and Gas Technician for Oneok Field Service and Timberland Gathering and Processing (XTO Energy). He also worked for a year as Senior Field Technician for ABB, Liberal, KS office. He joined ABB Bartlesville Office in 2014 as the Senior Technical Trainer.
Speaker: Will Rector
Bio: Will Rector has been working in the Natural Gas Industry for 5 years. He has been married to Maddy Rector for five years and graduated from Seward County Community College in 2010 with an Associate Degree. He got his first job in the industry in 2011 as a Field Operator who maintained pipeline and pipeline equipment, measurement equipment, and worked on communications projects. He eventually resigned in order to further his career by attending Barton Community College for the Natural Gas Measurement program. He graduated with a Technical Certificate in March of 2015. While at Barton, he was interviewed by ABB and was offered the position of Senior Field Service Technician out of the Liberal, KS field office. Over the last two years at ABB, Will has gained an abundance of knowledge on ABB products and has helped many customers with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting ABB equipment.
